Wishes of a girl i know

I used to be so sheltered but now I’ve broken through
Thanks to everyone I’ve ever knew
Life seems to be leaving me alone
we’ve been fighting for so long
I long for the feeling of peace
Tranquil nothingness

I long for the feeling of security
the thing I knew too well
it unhanded me from is warm clutches
now I’m in the cold real world

Lost and in a world that is in such a hurry
something I cant escape
unless I disperse into wastelands
but that’s not my desire

Its to fulfill a wish for the girl I used to be
to read under that lonesome tree
in the secluded grassy green field
from the side of the road
looking as a picture would in an art museum

She is still pulling me towards that one place
Even after she’s almost gone
Her childish ghost wishing for peace
As her grown body also dose

But our definitions of peace differ
As the seasons change
her memories fading from my heart
She still keeps them dear
longing for me to remember
The girl I used to be.
